For all wooden floors, the Osmo Polyx-Oil is a professional-grade oil with a satin finish (solid wood floors, laminated flooring, oriented strand-board etc.). can be applied to terracotta, cork flooring, and other unglazed tiles. Additionally, it works well for treating furniture surfaces (i.e. tabletops).
The Osmo Polyx-Oil surface is incredibly durable and robust. It is resistant to dirt and repels water. Wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk, and water, among other beverages, won't damage the finish.
Dirt is simply and completely removed. Even a partial renovation is simple. Simply clean the worn areas, re-treat them, and leave the old Polyx-Oil finish alone.
Osmo Polyx-Oil-treated floors have wear resistance that is even higher than that of traditional parquet sealants and varnishes.
The foundation of Osmo Polyx-Oil is natural waxes and vegetable oils. It is microporous and does not peel, blister, flake, or break. Therefore, it is a perfect therapy even in humid environments.
Osmo Polyx-Oil requires only two light coatsno primer!and is incredibly simple to apply. Both coats can be applied in one day due to the quick drying time. It has a creamy texture (thixotropic). By lightly polishing, the satin-matt finish can be increased. The wood's texture and grain are highlighted.
A timber floor that has been Osmo Polyx-Oil treated will age beautifully and increase in value.
