Cuprinol Garden Furniture Teak Oil protects and enhances teak and similar hardwoods. It is an all-in-one treatment that is replaces the natural oils lost through weathering, helping to restore the appearance of old furniture. It is also effective at maintaining and enhancing the colour of new garden furniture.

PREPARATION

• Always ensure the surface to be treated is clean, dry and free from any dust, algae, fungi or moss.
• To clean wood, give it a good brush with a stiff brush to remove any dirt, debris or loose wood
• If the wood has been previously stained, painted or varnished, we recommend you strip it back to the bare wood. For previously stained decking, use a suitable wood stripper or sandpaper
• If your wood has been effected by algae, fungi or moss this must be removed and can be cleaned with products such as Cuprinol Garden Furniture Cleaner

APPLICATION

Before applying, stir the product thoroughly and test a small area to ensure colour and adhesion. Colours can vary dependent on the surface to be treated.

• Apply 2 light coats with a brush or rag
• Allow the first coat to penetrate the wood before apply a second coat
• Allow to dry thoroughly before use drying times can vary depending on the nature of the surface and the weather conditions

Apply only in dry conditions, above 5C and when bad weather is not forecast.
Final colour will depend on wood type, previous treatment and the number of coats applied.
